UPDATE: The O.P.P. have laid a second charge into yesterday’s fire.
According to the police, the accused is now also facing a failure to comply with probation, on top of the Arson charge.
BANCROFT, ON – A Bancroft resident is facing arson charges.
The Bancroft O.P.P. have charged 50-year-old Rosanne Gutoskie with arson.
According to the O.P.P., an investigation was launched after officers were sent on a fire assist call yesterday night around 9:49 pm.
During the investigation, officers spoke to a tenant of the Woodview Lane property.
Police say the investigation is on-going and the OPP Forensic Identification Unit along with the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshall will be assisting.
Gutoskie was held over for a bail hearing in Belleville happening today.
