BANCROFT, ON – Several people are in hot water after police executed a search warrant.
According to the O.P.P., Thursday of last week members of the Community Street Crime Unit, the Emergency Response Team and the Tactics and Rescue Unit executed a search warrant on Woodview Lane within the township.
The police found a number of illegal and prescription drugs including crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, Percocet, and morphine.
As a result of the warrant, the police charged seven people with a variety of charges including possession with intent to traffick, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and failure to comply with recognizance.
One of the accused was released on a promise to appear while the others were held for a bail hearing.
