Central Food Network are taking action to protect the health of their volunteers, staff and those accessing their services.
Only essential staff and volunteers will be allowed entry at all locations.
Staff and volunteers are encouraged to educate and take care of themselves while practicing frequent and effective hand washing, good hygiene and social distancing. Cleaning protocols are in place with extra attention being paid to public areas of the food banks.
All current registered members will receive a pre-made hamper during usual hours, but will remain outside.
The Heat Bank has temporarily suspended home visits but can be reached in an emergency and emergency firewood will be dropped off with no contact with the recipient.
