Dysart et al has extended the Interim Tax Bill due dates without penalty or interest.
Dysart’s Emergency Management Control Group met again Monday to discuss updates and how to mitigate the impacts of the COVID-19 virus on the community.
It was agreed to extend the tax payment deadline to April 30.
The municipality is also closing all outdoor playground and gym equipment, including the Junction Skate Park.
The move is to contain community spread of the virus because the equipment cannot be sanitized between uses. Signs and caution tape will be posted to notify the public.
The Emergency Control Group will meet three times a week in an effort to keep everyone as safe as possible.
