Members of Parliament met virtually on Tuesday as part of a motion passed last week.
MP Jamie Schmale says they will meet 2 times a week virtually and once a week in person.
Schmale said it was different and historic, and good to use in a pandemic situation, but not moving forward.
Technical issues arose that made it difficult, but Schmale points out that it is to be expected with 338 people participating from all over the country, many in rural areas, having internet and cellular service issues.
But he says, where parliament should be sitting it worked, and they managed to get through it.
