Haliburton hospital is open to all emergencies again, as well as COVID related emergencies.
Haliburton Highlands Health Services have updated their guidance to county residents, about access to emergency and urgent care.
The Haliburton emergency department access also includes those with COVID-19 symptoms. Minden Hospital is open for all emergencies and urgent care needs, but those with COVID-19 symptoms can expect to be redirected to the Haliburton Hospital.
In the case of an emergency, call 911 and if you have COVID symptoms, alert the dispatcher. If you have symptoms of the coronavirus but do not need emergency or urgent care, go online and complete the self assessment or call Telehealth Ontario.
