Waste Reduction Week

October 17 to 23-Is Waste Reduction Week in Canada. During Waste Reduction Week in Canada, Algonquin Highlands, Dysart et al, Highlands East, Minden Hills, the County of Haliburton, and the Haliburton County Public Library, are using social media to share ways everyone can minimize their waste. The library will offer in-person programming to complement Waste Reduction Week. Be sure to follow your local municipal, county, and library social media channels for library programming information, and daily tips and hints on how you can reduce, reuse, and recycle your waste. Together we can all make a difference!
