Traffic stop in Haliburton leads to arrest and a warrant for Haliburton home

A traffic stop in the village of Haliburton has led to multiple charges and OPP recovering property. At a traffic stop on March 7, Haliburton Highlands OPP found that the Peterborough man was in breach of his bail conditions, so he was arrested. Officers searched the vehicle and found two firearms and some marijuana. They also obtained a search warrant for a Haliburton residence where they found more firearms, ammunition, drugs, tools, electronics and multiple cell phones. The 29 year old man was held for a bail hearing in Lindsay.
