Dorset Snowball Winter Carnival

Dorset Snowball Winter Carnival This year’s Snowball will commence at 6 p.m. on Friday, with a skating party at the Dorset Ice Palace, located in Lions Centennial Park on Main Street. If conditions do not allow for the outdoor rink to be open, there will be a dance party in the parking lot. The event will run until 9 p.m. On Saturday, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., a host of activities will include homemade toboggan races, human foosball, a hockey shootout, photobooth, facepainting, silent auction, snow maze and more. Enjoy a virtual dog sled tour or some maple taffy. Explore the vendor booths. Take in shows by the Great Canadian Lumberjacks, Junk Yard Symphony, and a wildlife caller. The Snowball Parade is scheduled for 11 a.m. The day will wrap up with Hockey Night in Dorset, commencing at 6 p.m.
