The Speakers Series

The Speakers Series is welcoming Ted Barris back to the Highlands to speak on Wednesday, June 12th. This is Mr. Barris’ fourth presentation to the Speakers Series and his subject this time is the enthralling story of steamboats on the Canadian prairies between the 1850s and the turn of the century. The Speakers Series, takes place on the second Wednesday of each month from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the Haliburton Highlands Outdoor Association Fish Hatchery, 6712 Gelert Road. Admission is $15/person payable at the door or on line at www.tellingourstories.company.site. As seating is limited, pre-registration is highly recommended.
