Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the area. The weather service says it’s been tracking a storm since around 8:00pm, which could bring nickel size hail and heavy rain. It says the storm is east of Eagle Lake and moving towards the northeast of Wilberforce by 8:30 tonight.
The watch is in effect for:
- Haliburton – Minden – Southern Haliburton County
- Oxtongue Lake – Fort Irwin – Northern Haliburton County
