The final tender for civil and electrical work in the Stanhope Airport construction has been awarded to Fowler Construction Company.
This means construction can begin as soon as tree clearing is completed. Reeve Carol Moffatt says she thinks that should be soon.
All tenants have been notified of construction details and the Municipality has answered inquiries from two parties to date.
