A firefighter practice in Dysart et al is coming with a bit of a detour tonight.
The fire department will be running a practice session at seven on Highland Street, causing a closure on Maple Street from Highland to York Street for about two hours. This will also hold up traffic on Highland Street from Pine Street to Cedar Avenue.
Fire officials are asking anyone parking on Highland Street to use the south side in order to allow firefighters enough room to run the practice.
