The province of Ontario has released the new OPP billing model, and Haliburton County will still be seeing an increase in costs. The new model means base costs will cover 60 per cent and calls for service will be 40 per cent of overall costs. The County of Haliburton will release a statement about the new model today and we’ll have the updates as they are available.  The new model will come into effect January first, 2015.
