Changing the speed limit on Gull River won’t happen for next year’s summer season. Darren Levstek has been working with Transport Canada to lower the limit on the river to 10 kilometers. Levstek said based on their feedback, they would have more success with the application once they do research and studies to support the request. A preliminary impact analysis and a cost-benefit analysis will be conducted before the application is submitted. Council approved waiting until September 2015 to apply.
