Sidewalk construction to begin in Minden Village week of Oct. 13

Sidewalk construction is slated to begin in Minden the week of October 13.

According to staff the project, which will repair sidewalks and improve accessibility in the village core, is expected to take three weeks.

The $331,000 project was included in the 2026 budget, along with plans for a pedestrian crossover proposed for Bobcaygeon Road. However, in July, council made the decision to tender the projects separately for efficiency.

According to staff, local businesses in the area will remain accessible during sidewalk construction.
