HKPR says packing healthy helps kids concentrate

Back to school means getting back into packing lunches, and the health unit is giving you tips to make sure it’s healthy for your kids. According to Registered Dietitian, Sarah Tsang, a lunch that includes at least two of the food groups will help kids concentrate in class. Aisha Malik is also a Registered Dietitian with the Health Unit and she says it’s also important to balance lunches by adding milk and fruit.
