Track snow plows this winter

The Ministry of Transportation Office is using a feature on their website where residents can track snow plows.

The feature is now available province-wide and can help travellers plan their route and drive according to weather and road conditions.

“Track My Plow is now available on Ontario 511, so drivers can track the location of snow plows and salt trucks. With more than 1,100 pieces of winter maintenance equipment on provincial highways to help fight winter storms, drivers are reminded never to pass a working snow plow and to give them plenty of room,” said Kristen Franks, Regional Issues and Media Advisor for the Northeastern Region of the Ministry of Transportation.

You can access Ontario 511 via Twitter, Phone or through the web.
