Dysart et al reminding dog owners to license them

The 2019 dog licenses are out, ready for purchase, and required in Dysart et al.

Dog owners in Dysart can go to the municipal office to license their furry friends. According to the municipality, the 2019 license tags are available at the municipal office, but Kristen Boyland, the By-law Enforcement Officer tells My Haliburton Now.com that the forms for the licensing can be found on the Dysart et al municipal website.

Dysart staff say the the cost of the dog license is $10 but add the municipality requires all dogs to be licensed. If your dog goes missing and they are not licensed the municipality says it will try and track down the owner, but dogs are not allowed to “run at large”  so the animal will be placed in a municipal pound and the owner of the dog will face fines and extra fees too.

According to Dysart et al “Dogs get out, Licences get them home.”
