Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Foundation’s Santa Sleigh program launches across region

The Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Foundation has launched their annual Santa Sleigh program.

The program runs in collaboration with LCBO stores in Minden, Wilberforce, Gooderham, and Kinmount, and helps make the holidays brighter for local children and youth who are involved with the Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Aid Society.

“We are inviting the community to choose a child’s gift suggestion from a tree at one of the LCBO stores in Haliburton or surrounding area, then shop for that gift in order to fulfill the child’s holiday wish” says Carrie Truman, Executive Director of the Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Foundation.

“The gifts will go directly to children in our community, so that together we can put smiles on the faces of local children this holiday season.”

Gift tags will be available on trees at local LCBO’s until Dec. 10. Donations of physical gifts, gift cards and monetary donations will also be accepted.

For additional details or to make an online monetary donation directed towards the Santa’s Sleigh Program, please visit www.khcas.on.ca/foundation.
