A few sacrifices are being made so the Head lake bridge project can go ahead.
Bids for the work came in almost $600,000 over what the county planned for. Because some of the project is being funded through the province, the money has to be spent before the end of the year.
Councillors agreed to take money from other projects in order to make that happen. Dark Lake bridge was also on the list this year, but they’re putting it off until next year and using that money for Head Lake bridge. The work is expected to start this fall.
