Schmale says Green Energy Act hurting people and businesses

Protecting the environment goes hand in hand with respecting the economy. That’s what the Conservative candidate in Haliburton Kawartha Lakes Brock says. Jamie Schmale says the Green Energy Act in Ontario is hurting businesses and people.

Schmale says the federal government has a role to play in collaborating with provinces, municipalities and businesses.

Schmale says Canada’s Greenhouse Gas Emissions in 2013 were about three per cent lower than 2005 levels and according to Canada’s Environment Minister, they’ll be 30 per cent lower in 2030.

Schmale is running for the Conservatives up against Liberal David Marquis, Green party candidate Bill MacCallum and Mike Perry for the New Democrats.
