People are not happy with the current approach to renewable energy according to local NDP candidate Mike Perry. He says the way the province is doing isn’t right. Instead of a top down approach, it should be communities deciding if they want environmental projects.
Perry says we have to be able to look to renewable energy to protect and sustain the environment.
Perry is looking for an NDP seat in Haliburton Kawartha Lakes Brock, up against Bill MacCallum of the Green Party, David Marquis for the Liberals, and Conservative Jamie Schmale.
