There’s a way to give a gift with a difference this year. SIRCH Community Services has launched their annual Gifts from the Heart campaign.
People can make a donation to a SIRCH program and put someone’s name on it as a gift to them.
Program Coordinator Wendy Iles says it’s a great way to teach kids the importance of giving to their community and to be aware of other people’s needs.
People looking to buy a gift can go to the SIRCH office on County road 21 just outside the village of Haliburton.
