The Dollo’s Foodland and Smolen’s Dentistry Highland Storm Midget A team visited the Parry Sound Shamrocks on Friday night for the opening game in the best of five playoff series. Haliburton‘s Jaydon Wood scored first but the Shamrocks scored the next 4 goals with the Storm’s Matt Manning adding one more in a 4-2 loss. Next game is Friday night at 9:30, in Minden. Meanwhile The Timber Mart Novice Highland Storm played in two games over the weekend beating the Bracebrige Bears in game one 2-1 with goals from Graeme Armstrong and Addison Carr. The Novices then shut-out the Bears 3-0 in game two with Kadin Card scoring twice and Isaac Lee adding a single. Aaron Neave earned the shut out.
