Residents of Dorset and the surrounding area were able to give their opinions in a public workshop for the Dorset Waterfront Plan and Downtown Study.
Thirty Dorset residents attended the workshop to see the results of an online survey that had been going on for a month on the Dorset website.
Leader of the group, Collin Reaney says the survey has given the consultant a great direction on priorities.
Reaney says the study will be done by the end of March which will allow the group to start responding to the development plan.
