Abbey Gardens fosters two rare Lac La Croix Indian Ponies.
They have launched a gofundme page to raise funds that will go towards their two boys.
Program Coordinator Cara Steele says locals of Haliburton County are lucky to have these ponies because there are only 200 left in the world.
Their goal is to raise $30,000 which will go towards the new Equine-Assisted Learning program, a visitor viewing shelter and learning opportunities and care techniques for the breed.
