A local man will become the new fire chief for Dysart et al.
The current fire chief Miles Maughan announced he will be retiring at the end of June.
Mike Iles says he applied for the job thinking it would be a wonderful challenge.
Starting May, Iles will job shadow Maughan until taking over the job title in July.
Iles says he has been with the fire department since 1993.
