The Municipality of Dysart et al will start charging residents if their garbage bags are unsorted.
Director of Public Works Brian Nicholson says starting July 1st, people will have to pay $2.00 per unsorted bag.
He hopes this will encourage people to recycle.
The municipality says transparent bags are mandatory at all landfill sites in Dysart et al.
