According to MNRF, Ontario is sending up to 100 firefighters to help fight the Fort McMurray wildfire including two crews in Haliburton.
Media Relations Officer Jolanta Kowalski says eight people from Haliburton are going to Alberta.
Kowalski says once they get there they will receive orientation before getting assigned to an area.
