Ice has melted on area lakes and people are starting to canoe camp.
Algonquin Highlands Parks, Recreation and Trails Manager Chris Card says a lot of people have been coming to the area because Algonquin Park is still closed.
Card says there was a 31 percent increase in camping revenue this March, compared to March 2015.
