The Municipality of Dysart et al is reminding residents of a bylaw which states only walking pedestrians are allowed on some sidewalks.
Municipal Law Enforcement Officer Ron Henselwood says skateboards, bicycles, and roller blades are not allowed on the sidewalks of Maple Avenue, Highland, York and Mountain streets.
Henselwood says depending on the age, parents could be held liable if their child hit a pedestrian.
