Bear Lake Diggings is no longer a public rock collecting site.
The Bancroft and District Chamber of Commerce sold the property in Highlands East, meaning it will no longer be open for public digging.
The Chamber says, at this time, it is not ready to release a statement, but more information is expected to become available about the sale.
