The municipality of Minden Hills will be raising the Terry Fox Flag next month.
Chair of the run Diane Peacock says the township has always been very supportive of the run.
This year marks the 23rd annual run.
Over the last 22 years, nearly $250,000 has been raised by Minden.
Peacock is encouraging people to form a team to raise funds for cancer research, and honour a survivor.
The event is on September 18th.
