Buying a cookie at Tim Horton’s this week will help a local organization.
For the third year, the proceeds from the Smile Cookie campaign in Haliburton and Minden are going to the Volunteer Dental Outreach.
Last year, the campaign raised nearly $4,000 for VDO.
The organization provides free dental care to people who can’t afford it.
VDO says they can provide $5 in free dental care for every dollar raised.
It started yesterday and runs until Sunday.
