The Minden Hills Cultural Centre has received five blooms from Communities in Bloom.
In July and August, participating communities were evaluated on the overall contributions of tidiness, environmental action, floral displays, urban forestry and heritage conservation.
Five blooms is the highest ranking you can get.
The organization’s goal is to keep Canada beautiful by enhancing green spaces, and beautification.
The town also received a Criteria Award for Community of Gardeners.
