Ideas are starting to come together for Canada Day in Minden Hills.
Director of Community Services Mark Coleman says Canada Day brings 5,000 people to the town, and this year it’s Canada’s 150th birthday. Coleman wants to grow the activities, and add more fireworks. He sent in a grant application to the 2017 Celebrate Canada for $9,000 to make this happen.
He says they should know in the next couple of months if they get accepted for the grant.
