Haliburton County is expecting to come in on budget this year.
Treasurer Elaine Taylor says the small surplus they are hoping to end the year with is because of capital items not completed and unspent snow clearing dollars.
Taylor says they are starting to move the unspent money to reserves. She says this will help staff finish projects. She says things may change because of the recent snowfall, but as of right now things are looking good.
