Haliburton County has a chance to help kids in need. The local Children’s Aid Society is hoping to boost its foster parent recruitment activities in the New Year, as not enough residents are stepping up. Executive Director Jennifer Wilson says they are working on a strategy.
Wilson says the decline of foster parents is happening across Ontario, and the community will soon start to see more advertisements.
