The Haliburton Junction Skate Park Committee needs to raise thousands of dollars for its project.
They are hoping to build the new skate park this year on the Municipality of Dysart et al’s property near the council chambers.
Recreation Program Coordinator Andrea Mueller says they need to get $70,000 still to make this a great park. Mueller says they plan on being at events this year raising awareness and collecting donations.
