Two Sears locations in Haliburton County are keeping their doors open.
Last month, Sears Canada announced as part of a bankruptcy filing that 59 stores would close, and close to 3,000 employees would be laid off.
Rawn Moore owns the Minden location and says she was not surprised her store wasn’t affected.
The Haliburton Sears will also remain open.
Both locations do not have to let any employees go.
