A Minden man is facing two impaired driving charges after allegedly striking a lamp post.
Haliburton Highlands O.P.P learned of the collision just after 6:00 a.m. on July 8 on Highway 35 near the County Road 21 intersection.
Its investigation revealed the driver had drank alcohol, but the 23 year old male was not hurt.
He is charged with driving while impaired and driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood.
He has a court date on September 6 in Minden.
