A man from Minden is facing two charges after the O.P.P. found him asleep behind the wheel.

The Haliburton Highlands detachment learned of the 48-year old suspect sleeping in his car on July 14 in the afternoon.

The O.P.P. found him on Howland Junction Road in Minden and determined he had been drinking alcohol.

He was charged with care and control while impaired, and having over 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood.

He also had his license suspended for 90 days and his car was impounded for seven days.

His court date is September 6 in Minden.
