A 29-year-old woman is facing six charges after being pulled over by the Haliburton Highlands O.P.P.
An officer pulled over the suspect on Highland Street in Haliburton Village Saturday just before 4:00 p.m.
The officer determined she had been drinking and then she failed a breathalyzer test.
The woman was charged with impaired driving, driving over the legal limit, driving with an open liquor container, failing to stop at a stop sign, following a vehicle too closely, and failing to show an insurance card.
The suspect will be in a Minden Hills courtroom October 4th.
