A group in Algonquin Highlands is giving back to the township.
At a recent council meeting, the Stanhope Slamming Seniors tennis group made a $240 donation to the townships recreation department.
In its letter to council, the tennis group thanked the township for the support of its group, as well as the parks and tennis courts.
The group also noted in the letter that there are numerous cracks in the courts.
Mayor Carol Moffatt said in council chambers that the township will looking fixing the tennis courts in the future.
