The Haliburton Highlands O.P.P. wants to fill its cruisers on Saturday.

It’s the detachment’s annual Fill-a-Cruiser event which raises supplies for the county’s four food banks

Community Safety Officer Dianna Dauphinee says it’s the time of the year to think about families in need.

Dauphinee also says officers will be patrolling several locations for food donations of non-perishable items.

The O.P.P. will be at the Foodland in Wilberforce next Saturday.

In Haliburton, Cruisers will be at Todd’s Independent Grocer from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and at Park’s Foodland from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

In Minden, a car will be at Easton’s Valu-Mart from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and then at Dollo’s Foodland from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
