62-year-old man charged with drunk driving after vehicle found in ditch near Gooderham

A 62-year-old man from Highlands East will have to answer to several charges in February.

Haliburton Highlands O.P.P. found a car in a ditch along Buckhorn Road near Gooderham on Tuesday just after 10:00 p.m.

After speaking with the man, the O.P.P. said he had been drinking.

He was arrested at the scene and had his car impounded for seven days and his licence suspended for 90 days.

He is charged with impaired driving, driving with an open container of liquor and possession of marijuana under 30 grams among other charges.

His court date will be on February 7^th in Lindsay.
