Once Christmas is done, the four food banks in Haliburton County will still need help.
Central Food Network Chairman John Teljeur says donations historically drop off after the holidays.
He says that the people who rely on food banks still need them no matter what time of the year it is.
Teljeur also says the managers at the food banks are very good at stretching dollars to keep their cupboards stocked.
The four food banks in the county are in Haliburton, Minden Hills, Wilberforce and Cardiff.
