News Clarke looks forward to making positive change in the community SHARE ON: Smith Autumn, contributor, Monday, Jul. 7th, 2014 Minden Hills councilor Larry Clarke says removing his name from the running for Reeve will allow him to make a positive change in other areas in the community. Clarke announced he was running for Reeve at the end of May. Just over a month later, he pulled his name. Clarke says he also won’t be running again as councilor. He says he’s happy with the work he’s done with the Economic Development Plan which is one of the reasons he decided to run for councilor. Clarke says he has a lot of great opportunities outside of council. Working on the Economic Development Plan and other initiatives like future plans for a trails plan will keep him busy, says Clarke. November will mark the end of Clarke’s term as councilor.
