A list of some of the biggest earners in the county is being released.
The 2017 Sunshine List named every public employee in the province earning $100,000 a year or more.
Nine staff members of Haliburton County made the list, led by C.A.O. Mike Rutter, earning just under $161,000.
Sixteen employees with Haliburton Highlands Health Services are also on the list, led by President and C.E.O. Carolyn Plummer who makes over $191,000.
Dysart et al C.A.O. Tamara Wilbee and Highlands East C.A.O. Shannon Hunter both earn over $116,000.
Two employees each from Algonquin Highlands and Minden Hills are on the list.
Minden C.A.O. Laurie Blanchard made over $137,000 in 2017, while Algonquin Highlands C.A.O. Angie Bird earned nearly $130,000.
Trillium Lakelands District School Board Director of Education Larry Hope had the biggest jump in salary from $200,000 in 2016 to over $300,000 last year.
Over 131,000 people made the list in Ontario.
